Spotify is one of the biggest music streaming platforms around the globe. From famous singers to niche singers, Spotify provided an excellent platform to connect listeners and artists.
CHALLENGE —
How might we create a feature in Spotify that create a community where singer-songwriter and fans can establish a channel to join, connect, and talk?

Research —
Through the songs, listeners gets a snapshot of the artist's life and a sneak peek at how artists think, feel, and create. But what if the audience wants to know more about who you are and what inspires you? Spotify has an existing show called Music+Talk, which allows creators to recreate the radio-like experience to share their thoughts on a track. However, the social connection this provides is limited. Currently to comment on music releases, one normally goes elsewhere. The audience will need to use other apps such as Instagram or TikTok to comment and share their feelings about the song with artists.

Short-form video has even further accelerated the act of rapidly creating relevant content and “broadcasting yourself.” Short videos with music and filters make it easy for creators to produce and share content.
